The Apparatus is our enterprise for modeling knowledge. The philosopher Michel Foucault stated, the apparatus is that which is capable of expressing “the said, as much as the unsaid”, “a device which is always linked to certain limits of knowledge that arise from it and, to an equal degree, condition it”.
Furthering this the philosopher, Giorgio Agamben advanced on Foucault by indicating that the Apparatus is that which is capable of capturing the essence of Living Beings. The work in this series is an reflection of Agamben's "apparatuses" as it relates to capturing the essence of the destruction and entropic demise of personal relationships.

Almost to 8. (Iowa)
We tried.
Yes we did.
He’s seven.
A little over.
You’re leaving.
I was also.
When you were seven?
Almost to eight.
No Lift Off. (Submerged)
Blub Blub.
Fuck you.
Two Sun Spots, But Not Room Enough For a Third
Stretch out now.
I will.
There’s room.
There’s enough.
Can you breath?
Too much.
The Bicycle
The Charge
You’ll Never Put It All Back.
Throw me away.
No, I refuse.
Put me in your garbage.
You’ll rip the bag.
Burn me.
No, I refuse.
Construct me.
I don’t know how.
Keep me together.
I’ll try my best.
