Shiver is a young adult graphic novel set in an era of universally accepted and mass-adopted augmented reality. Without any globally accepted version for colors, textures, light sources, etc, the base platform de-evolved from nearly unlimited potential toward blank or muted colors and simple textures and structures. A revolution has occurred in the youth generation to use a cocktail called Shiver, to disrupt the nanobots controlling the base platform. The effects grant the Aug the ability to design and manipulate their environment as they see fit, resulting in a variety of customized realities. Plara, a new user and poet explores the cocktail and discovers the true question of reality: What exists now beyond the Augmentation?
